Grow NJ Kids is New Jersey's Quality Rating Improvement System, designed to help raise the quality of child care and early learning programs throughout the state. Participating programs are evaluated using research-based standards that look at many aspects of quality, including learning environments, teaching practices, staff qualifications, health and safety, and family engagement.
Our program is proudly enrolled Grow NJ Kids, giving families an independent measure of the quality and care we strive to provide every day.
The Center for Research and Evaluation on Education and Human Services (CREEHS) at Montclair State University serves as the independent Rating Entity for Grow NJ Kids. CREEHS provides objective research and program evaluation services to organizations and agencies throughout New Jersey and beyond.
As the Rating Entity for Grow NJ Kids, CREEHS conducts systematic and unbiased evaluations of participating early childhood programs, including observations of classroom quality. Their work helps ensure that programs are evaluated consistently and fairly against established standards.
We are proud to participate in a system that holds early childhood programs to meaningful standards and, most importantly, helps us continually reflect on and improve the experience we provide for children and families.
